Making music has been my obsession for as long as I can remember. As a teenager, I went from playing guitar to writing songs, and soon found myself with a need to record. I fell in love with the recording process and in my hunt to learn everything I could about audio, I wound up at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music studying Recording Arts. In addition to the stellar formal education from Jacobs, I cut my teeth working with the fantastically talented and diverse array of Bloomington's musicians, doing everything from live mixing and recording to tracking and mixing studio recordings, often collaborating in songwriting, production, and performance in addition to engineering. Since finishing school, I relocated to Detroit where I’ve worked as a musician, live sound engineer, studio engineer, music producer, and sound designer for a podcast over the last few years.
